With another football season comes another year of betting profits. The NCAA provides us such a plethora of weekly opportunities to wager on games and make money. This is an amazing opportunity for our clients to profit and make big money from all of the different games that kick off on Saturday. We always advise that our investors do not bet on their favorite teams or their alma matra but rather the games that make the most sense when betting against the spread. If you are planning on betting with a sportsbook in Las Vegas, Nevada then you need to have a fundamental understanding on how to pick winners each week of the 2013 football season.
Each division offers excellent teams while there is also a lot of teams that get blown out. For example the ACC has FSU who is consistently a good team while the SEC has Alabama who will be the best team almost each and every season. Knowing which teams have strength and favorable lines when the college football odds come out each week is an important part of our strategy to getting winning picks to you in a timely manner. The biggest part of making money when betting on these games is having an excellent handicapping source ike the Vegas Insiders who can advise you on what to bet on and more importantly when you need to bet on it as timing is everything.
This starts with knowing the divisions and the teams in them. In alphabetical order we will go over them. First off there is the Atlantic Coast Conference also known as the ACC. The best football team in the ACC is the Florida State Seminoles who had an amazing run in the 1990's as the premiere team winning more games then any other team in the 90's era. Last year they went 7-1 in their division and 12-2 overall. The Clemson Tigers were right behind them winning only 11 games in 2012. NC State, Wak Forest Deamon Deacons, the Maryland Terps, and Boston College all lag behind in the standings as struggling top tier football teams. Generally a top tier team playing the rest of the ACC teams will see a very favorable spread giving them a lot of points.
Kansas State and Oklahoma dominated the Big 12 last season both going 8-1 in their conference with K-State finishing 11-2. The Texas Longhorns are generally one of the best teams in football but they had a rough 2012 season going 5-4 in their division and 9-4 overall but expect a strong 2013 thanks to a great incoming recruited class of players. Oklahoma State finished 8-5 and also went 5-4 in the Big last year. Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU Frogs, and the West Virginia Mountaineers are great teams who give any team a run for their money making this such an exciting football division. Iowa State and Kansas struggled enormously last season and don't expect them to make you much money on straight up or moneyline bets for the 2013 betting season.
This is the most entralling division. People do not know how to bet on games and make proper line adjustments when a PAC 10 team travels across the country and plays agains the ACC or SEC team. These are the opportunities we wait for and pounce on as soon as they become available all season long.
